Technical review of Piranha IIIC, the standard 8x8 armoured vehicle in service with the Belgian armed forces. Currently infantry battalions of the Belgian army are equipped with 4 main variants of Piranha IIIC including the Piranha DF90 fitted with a CMI Defence two-man turret armed with one 90mm cannon, the DF-30 fitted with an Elbit Systems remotely operated weapon station armed with a 30mm Mk44 Bushmaster automatic cannon, the IFV infantry fighting vehicle that can carry 10 infantrymen and the ARV version armoured recovery vehicle to repair damaged vehicle on the battlefield.
