Walking around Paris 1975 (super 8mm film)

Description: We are in Paris, the capital and most populous city of France. The film opens with the filmmaker’s company and their tour in the streets of Paris. We see the traffic jam with cars of that era, passers-by, the market as well as shots from Galeries Lafayette, an upmarket French department store chain, the biggest in Europe, with shops of famous brands. Shots from interior of a moving car follow and we watch the Vendôme Column in the Vendôme Square, and behind it, the building “L’hôtel de Bourvallais” which houses the Ministry of Justice. The wandering in the streets of Paris for the filmmaker and his company continues and we see the “L’église de la Madeleine” in the Place de la Concorde, the Luxor Obelisks in the background and many shop windows of famous and luxury brands. The film closes with footage from inside a bus and we single out the Eiffel Tower, that is visible in the background and the Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile. * Subscribe to ou
