Monster on The Festiniog Railway

Monster is a 2ft gauge skip wagon fitted with a 20bhp, 1500cc Enfiled diesel twin engine and Lister Autotruck bodywork. It was Built during the 70’s on the Festiniog Railway to be used as a shunting engine around Ddault during the deviation. This is a video of the Monster under test after having some ’maintenance’ to the fuel system and a fresh coat of paint to the stylish bodywork. Monster will be running during May bank holiday of 2010 during the Festiniog Railway’s Quirks and Curiosity’s weekend along wi
