Belarussian Army on military Parade - Independence

MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) The Military Parade of featured nearly 3,900 servicemen and over 160 military vehicles. Comprising the march-past were cadets of the Military Academy of Belarus, Military Department of the Belarusian National Technical University, representatives of the State Border Committee, the Interior Ministry, and Emergencies Ministry, and servicemen of the 38th and 103rd Guards Independent Mobile Brigades. Besides, the parade included representatives of the Interior Ministry, the State Border Committee and the Emergencies Ministry as well as the guests from Russia -- the 76th Pskov Airborne Division and the Pantsir-C air-defense system crews. The Honor Guard staged a show which was followed by a concert of the orchestra of the Armed Forces. The combat materiel part of the parade opened with WW2 tanks BT-7 and T-34 and SU-100. They were followed by modern military equipment including tanks T-72B, Shturm-C propelled anti-tank systems, Osa short-range tactical surface-to-air missil
