How to Sew a Folded Fabric Star Trivet by Debbie Shore

Apologies for the start of the video being out of sync, trying to fix this! This simple trivet looks more complicated than it is! This was the Half Yard Sewing Club December live sew-along project. We do one on the last Saturday of every month so watch out for the next! With this method you can easily complete this in a couple of hours. Try mixing patterns with plains, similar colours work well but one bold colour will make the star shape really stand out. How about experimenting monochrome or rainbow colours! Why not join our club!
