THE SEEKER 3: Unleashed and Unbound feat Pol Tarrés

The Trece Racing Society presents The Seeker 3 – a desert story inspired by the glowing beauty of al-Maghrib, told by Pol Tarres’ otherworldly riding and immortalized by the Echevarria brothers’ film art. The Seeker 3: Unleashed and Unbound Barcelona, 26. 09. 2023 “Ultimately, the seeker wants to know himself, meet people from other cultures, reflect upon the real meaning of life.” – Pol Tarrés Hit hard by the notorious mal d’Afrique, the Trece Racing Society with Pol Tarrés on the clutch are proudly presenting The Seeker 3, a desert free-ride manifesto and a love letter to Morocco in one. Without roses and champagne, but romantic to the bone, this is the kind of love every seeker dreams of: pretty crazy, transforming and unbound. The first African chapter of The Seeker’s motorcycle diaries starts on the sandy waves of Erg Chebbi, sails towards the South-West, crosses the breath-taking canyons and boulders to finally land unleashing all horsepower on Legzira beach. Born from the space of no doubt and no fear, Pol’s latest provocation is the ultimate proof that the reality is malleable: under his Yamaha Ténéré, even the sharpest rocks, the most vertical walls and the narrowest of ridges become magic carpets to ride and more and more often - to fly on. Race first, play later The plan was to explore Morocco, to race a bit and to play a bit more. After the rally not only Pol, but also Javi and Ahikar raced, the Trece Racing Society would ride back to Agadir, shoot some footage on the way, ideally get involved in a football match, dip their fingers in kus-kus, get lost in the mountains and that’s about where the plan ends. Still with sand in their boots and over a strong mint tea, the team traced a very provisional route. Pol left behind navigation, timetables and regulations on the finish line of the Morocco Dessert Challenge to turn himself into an eagle. The promise of freedom made his heart beat faster, he surrendered to the wind, turned on his intuition and left the asphalt. Go with the glow As the team tapped into the magic of the Kingdom of light, everything got materialised in real time: family feasts, cosy beds, lucky findings and encounters, a football game with the local boys and their hero Achraf Hakimi live on the phone and even THE jump. “This time I beat myself thanks to Morocco. This place is limitless, so I had plenty of room to create,” explains Pol, while Javi adds: “On a cinematic level you don’t need to work with angles to make it bigger, but for me, the real treasure of Morocco is its light; there’s some sort of a shimmering filter in the air that makes everything more beautiful.” The game is to be free Yet, as the thin layer of sand in the air was artistically inspiring the team, there was a layer of extreme risk around every Pol’s move. In this land you really get a taste of absolute freedom, and that comes with lots of responsibility. The team couldn’t measure the canyon before the jump, but Pol removed a stone that stood in the way. It’s difficult to say who felt more adrenaline, him or the cameras, because you obviously don’t repeat the risky stuff. Well, this is how you push limits, but not your luck … like a boss. For Pol, the game isn’t to be in control, the game is to let it go and be free. Plus, the mutual trust between the rider and his team never fails. So very grateful. Well, the seeker will never stop seeking, so the Trece will be back with a new adventure when the time is right. Dedicated to our dear brothers in Morocco, affected by the terrible earthquake – our prayers, thoughts and support are with you. Stay strong and see you soon!
