The wire size used for bracelets can be flexibly changed depending on the purpose or size of the rope you have:
- Main wire: wire diameter 1.0 - ( 18 gauge - 15 gauge )
- coil spring: wire diameter 0.5 - ( 24 gauge - 21 gauge )
The length of wire use depends on the circumference and the size of bracelets (the thickness of bracelets) you want to make.
- Main wire = 4 x circumference of bracelets (if you want to get thicker you can use 6 times)
- Coil spring = 15 - 18 x circumference of bracelets (using a wire with a small diameter will require a larger length)
In the video I use :
15 gauge ( wire diameter ) : 60cm( 24 inch)
22 gauge ( wire diameter ) : 250cm( 100 inch)
You can flatten it with whatever tool you have, I use a dough roll and the floor.
A similar technique can be used to make rings
*** Don’t be discouraged if you don’t succeed the first time, with the new template, I have to try many times before it succeeds, even if it’s a simple one.
