Blue hour is known as the timeless moment just before sunrise or right after sunset. A moment between light and darkness, a time when the world is quiet, the time slows and magic appears… Blue Hour is Lucas’s newest passion short film about a journey through the time of Eleonora, a 21-year old former dancer who has just started over dancing after a bad injury happened 2 years ago, out of a need to rediscover her identity. For Eleonora dancing isn’t just a sport, it’s a way to connect with herself and mentally recharge among the waves. It is also an experience of aesthetic pleasure, it wears you out but reconstructs you, it is pure freedom. With Lucas’s cinematic vision and Eleonora’s choreography, we created a video that portrays the need to escape, the need to be alone even for an instant, and away from our invasive and self-congratulatory modern society.
