Ukraine SBU Chief Admits Graphic Killings Amid Russia Arrest Order; Zelensky Rejigs Security Brass

Ukraine’s security service (SBU) chief Vasyl Maliuk dismissed a Russian order to arrest him. On March 26, Moscow’s Basmanny court issued an order to arrest Maliuk in absentia, as part of a probe into a 2022 explosion at the Kerch bridge. Maliuk also gave a television interview detailing extra-judicial killings of Ukraine’s opponents in Russia. The interview came as Russia accused Ukraine of masterminding the attack on a Moscow concert hall, which killed at least 139. The director of Russia’s most powerful security agency called Ukraine’s military spy chief Kyrylo Budanov “a legal target”. Following Bortnikov’s warning, the DIU* said there is nothing new in the FSB statement, and such threats have not been made against Budanov for the first time.
