THE SAND CASTLE Milo is at the beach. He sees two children building a magnificent sand castle. Milo decides he wants to build one, too – a castle that will be much nicer than theirs. Milo’s castle quickly crumbles as soon as he starts to build it. Milo learns that it’s best not to get discouraged and that solidarity always wins over competition. His competing castle builders help Milo build a new castle. The result is an outstanding masterpiece that eventually falls victim to the rising tide. The children watch it fall as the sun sets. Milo realises by the end of the day that it is much better to make friends than to win a castle-building contest.
