️🇷🇺🇺🇦 After a long hiatus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces resumed attacks in the rear regions of Russia. In the latter part of the week, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to raid Crimea. Meanwhile, similar attacks were repelled in other regions of the Russian Federation. Given the extended break, the enemy might have accumulated sufficient destructive power for new attacks on the eve of the New Year. ▪️ During the night of December 14, drones were shot down by electronic warfare and air defense systems in the Kaluga and Moscow regions. Towards the end of the week, Ukrainian forces attempted to strike the Rostov, Lipetsk, and Volgograd regions. The enemy targeted military and infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation. ▪️ Concurrently, air defense crews successfully intercepted six missiles in the Kursk region. There was also unrest in the neighboring Belgorod region, where a shootout occurred near the village of Terebreno. In just one week, over 300 incursions were recorded in the border regions, resulting in six reported civilian injuries. ▪️ Meanwhile, regular shelling of populated areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic continued, with approximately 500 shells fired. Most of the attacks occurred in the western regions of Donetsk. The peak of shelling was on December 13-14, resulting in 12 civilian injuries and one civilian fatality over two days. ▪️ The Kherson region also suffered significant damage, with over 400 rounds of ammunition hitting cities and villages. Five people were killed and another nine were injured. In one attack, the enemy targeted an ambulance on the Oleshky-Radensk highway, while in another, they fired at a humanitarian warehouse in Novaya Mayachka using the HIMARS MLRS. #Belgorod #Donetsk #Russia #Ukraine #Kherson Источник: Rybar in English
