Split top slab bench

I have been asked to make a bench for a master bedroom. A sketch with dimensions was provided but details such as material choice, joinery and finish were for me to decide. Starting with a massive slab I had to work my way around some defects nonetheless trying to get a continuous grain match as best I could, cutting and glueing crisp corners. During the build I left both sides of the bench oversized for as long as possible to be able to compensate for possible errors due to some of the defects in the wood
