Located in the city’s Hongkou district where the Suzhou Creek and Huangpu River meet, the North Bund has long been a hub for the international shipping industry. Presently, the 4-square-kilometer area is the largest redevelopment zone in downtown Shanghai following the release of a master plan by the municipal bureau of planning and land resources.
