Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line - Part 3 - Lewistown, Mount Union & Huntingdon, PA

We continue our tour of the NS Pittsburgh Line - the former Pennsy Middle Division. We pickup at Lewistown to catch an eastbound stack train. We then move to a new day location - Mount Union, PA We catch eastbound Amtrak’s Pennsylvanian. Westbound NS 539 is up next. We then catch local C42 w/ 2 rebuilt ex Conrail GP38-2s. Westbound 21E passes next w/ a pair of UP SD70Ms in the consist. Our final train at Mount Union is a mixed eastbound pulled by an ex Conrail Dash-8. We continue west head to Huntingdon catch NS 20T meeting a westbound at the passenger station. Shot on 1/27/10 1/28/10
