Tempest - A 4K Storm Time-lapse Film from Saskatchewan

Storm season in the Canadian prairies is incredible. During the summer months, I take off to the remote corners of Saskatchewan to time-lapse Saskatchewan’s supercell thunderstorms as they rip across the Canadian prairies. One day you’ll be getting chased by a shelf cloud travelling nearly 100km/h, the next you’ll be standing awestruck in front of a mothership spinning up into the atmosphere. Nothing really prepares you for what you’ll experience during Saskatchewan’s storm season. This film features time-lapse from many different storms from 2019 through the 2021 #skstorm season covering many miles and hours away from home. I’ve released three ’Land of Living Skies’ films (links below) over the past three years that summarize each season. This film contains just the best of those chases.
