Chaos and destruction in the capital of India! A hellish storm has hit Delhi!

The Indian capital witnessed its worst thunderstorm in four years as 100 km/h squally winds hit Delhi on Monday evening. The gusty wind was accompanied by lightning strikes and heavy rain. In 80 minutes in the city, the temperature dropped by about 16 degrees Celsius. Eastern and central parts of Delhi received the maximum impact of the storm. The element caused chaos on the roads, knocked down many trees, damaged the roofs of buildings and billboards. Several people were injured. The wind was so strong that air conditioners fell off a building on Parliament Street, damaging cars and auto rickshaws. The cathedral mosque Jama Masjid lost the top of its main dome. Strong winds also cut power and internet cables, causing chaos in parts of the capital. At least 70 flights were delayed at Delhi airport.
