How to build a Pocket Scheitholt

The Scheitholt is diatonic instrument described by Michael Praetorius in his book “Syntagma musicum“ (published in 1619). It has already been in use over 500 years ago and often it was self-made with easy means. While strumming, the player pressed down the melody strings with a little wooden stick - the other strings were used as drone strings. I liked the idea of building such a basic string instrument myself - and this video shows, how i did it. You may like to build something similar with stuff that is a
