Back in the mid-sixties, as a teenager, Kathi began her music career as the vocalist for The Accents, later The Bellingham Accents, and then The Unusuals -- a well-known garage band in the Pacific Northwest. The photo at the end of the video is Kathi with The Unusuals. This effort is dedicated to the memory of Kathi McDonald. Timeline update: New historical information has been discovered since this video was made. On the B/W photo near the end, Kathi was probably 17 years of age versus 18 when the picture was taken. However, she would turn 18 years of age in September of 1966.
