Camera Shake is an Essential Ingredient in Games

Game Design - Camera shake is an important part of games to make them feel good but the importance is invisible to the players. Some games use too much camera shake in their games which lead players to question why camera shake exists at all. Examples are from Destiny 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Hades and Marvel Snap “The art of screenshake” recommended talk: In today’s video I simplified the movement of the camera to just 3 axes (vertical/horizontal/rotation) but you can actually do much more than that. You can do rotation along each of these axes, and you can also do FOV changes.
