Red - Live - Intro, Surrogates and Infidel. Manchester Club Academy, 2024.

A latecomer to the fantastic Red’s music, I was introduced to them by my son a couple of years ago. It was an absolute pleasure to meet the band and their support, Lansdowne, on the evening of Saturday 8th June. For those unfamiliar with Red, they were formed in Nashville in 2002 by Anthony and Randy Armstrong (guitarist and bassist), and Michael Barnes (lead vocalist). Their drummer is Brian Medeiros. Red’s genre can be described as Christian rock or nu-metal, alternative metal, and post-grunge (to name a few). Basically, they rock and they rock hard! This 2024 tour is the Rated R tour, following their same-titled album release in 2023. If you haven’t listened to Red, check them out! You’re in for a treat!
