French model in Christian Dior’s latest - an afternoon dress in black facecloth, wide at the shoulder with high side splits over a narrow sheath. Also known as the Y line. The Spanish model Felichin Santamaria wears a circular evening cape and the Swede Irja Nilsson a tweed jacket and dress with an “egg-line“ skirt. The jacket has fur trim and she’s wearing a fur hat.
