This is Jean Baptiste Lavaux at the wheel of his spectacular Renault 5 Turbo, one of the most surprising entries at Turckheim Hillclimb 2020, displaying some very very committed driving behind the wheel of the Group B mid-engined, Rear Wheel Drive little Monster. With over 300Hp from the Turbo Engine moving the sub-900Kg machine in quite a brisk manner, that will always only tell part of the story because the combination of Turbo-lag, Manual Gearbox and most of the weight being placed at the rear portion of the car makes for a driving experience which needs a capable driver. One that can steer from the Rear and be comfortable with some courageous powersliding... Luckily that seems to be the case...
