Hey Ho, Nobody Home ~Musical Round~

This is one of my favorite musical rounds, and one that I can remember singing as a kid. The words of the song are: Hey Ho, Nobody home. Meat nor drink nor money have I none, Yet will I be merry, very merry. Since the words of the song are sort of cryptic and open to debate as to their true meaning, I interpreted the song as about a vagabond who stumbles upon a deserted house only to find it not deserted at all. But I bet you can think of other possible interpretations to these lyrics... This is also a great song for music students to sing with a xylophone ostinato- so try that out too!
