Rumba Columbia #1 Played on two Congas Fast & Slow Tempo and Play Along

The rhythm of the Columbia Rumba in metric size 6/8. Traditionally performed by a drum group of Checkere, Cowbells, WoodBlocks and several Congas drums. Two or three drums accompanied by hand percussion play an ostinate rhythm, and a highly tuned drum plays a solo. It is often performed at a very fast pace. In this example, the left hand plays combined double strokes: Palm-Finger and Open-Finger. If you play these strokes continuously, without pauses, you will get an excellent exercise for the development of the left hand, it was recommended to practice by such a master of the game as Giovanni Hidalgo.
