NIGHT CARNIVAL - Float passes by with three young boys dressed as farmers / shepherds, one holds a scythe. Another float has a white banner with the words written in red “Don’t take the bombs to Cuba“. Numerous shots of the Carnival Queen sitting on a model crescent shaped moon. BRIGHTON OUT OF SEASON - A couple of shots of the lost children’s bureau. Extra footage of old people walking down Brighton pier and some shots of fishing boats on the beach. Various shots of closed fairground rides and shops. Nice “out of season“ shots. CHILDREN’S CARNIVAL - More shots of children in fancy dress, one is dressed in a suit of armour and another is a witch, otherwise similar footage to the cut story.
