Going to the cross was not an easy thing for Jesus: He was mocked and beaten, ridiculed and had to carry that cross (not a short distance, by the way), with the help of someone else and nailed to it and stayed there for hours. By the power of God, He is alive, and because of His great love for us, and by us, I mean every single person on this earth, He would do it all over again. He would take that beating, he would take the mockery, he would take that cross and carry it all for YOU. He didn’t do it just for the people back then, he did it for every single person back then and now, because we could not pay the debt we needed to and he loved us so much and wanted to be with his children.
