Watercolor Rock Tower Demo

Watercolor Rock Tower Demo: Join me as I paint in real time a rock tower using Silver Brush Limited Ruby Satin brushes featuring Daniel Smith Graphite Gray Watercolor. These versatile brushes and unique color made this painting enjoyable and gave it a flow all its own. The Graphite Gray has an interesting dry shift, drying lighter than it appears wet, and transforming into a matte yet not chalky finish. This color paired well with another matte color, Lunar Earth, and chalky dull-lightful Raw Sienna. In the end this painting was full of a variety of exciting color blends, textures, granulation, and finishes. .
