Phone rings, door chimes, in comes COMPANY! Company is a 1970 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth. The story revolves around Robert, a single man unable to commit fully to a steady relationship, (let alone marriage), the five married couples who are his best friends, and his three girlfriends. This 2011 filmed version is directed by Lonny Price and accompanied by the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Paul Gemignani. It was filmed live at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center.
