10 Kashmir [Led Zeppelin Cover] - Ofra Haza

This is Ofra’s self-banned and never officially published album “Queen In Exile“. Originally recorded in 1995 for BMG Ariola München. She wrote most of the songs on this album. But they wanted Ofra and Bezalel to work with people who tried to make Ofra to be a popstar and they didn’t like it, so they cancelled the deal instead. Fortunately we can still enjoy this masterpiece. We provide full English translations for the mixed language songs. Lyrics: Oh, let the Sun beat down upon my face Stars to fill my dreams I am a traveler of both time and space To be where I have been As the dust that blows high in June We’re movin’ through Kashmir With no provision but an open face Along the straits of fear I’ve been flying Ain’t no denyin’ Flying, flying All I see turns to brown All I see turns to brown As the Sun burns the ground Burning, burning And my eyes fill with sand My eyes fill with sand As I scan this wasted land This wasted land Trying to find All I see turns to brown Trying to find Trying to find As the Sun burns the ground Trying to find where I’ve been Trying to find And my eyes fill with sand Trying to find Trying to find As I scan this wasted land Where I’ve been Trying to find All I see turns to brown Trying to find where I’ve been Trying As the Sun burns the ground Trying Try And my eyes fill with sand Try As I scan this wasted land Try Well, I’m down So down
