Dad’s reflexes were on point today! What’s wild about skating is that you can skate at one spot, maybe even bigger features and then have a full mental block at another spot with smaller features. It’s becoming more and more clear to us that skateboarding is like golf, it’s a lifetime sport and some days everything clicks for you and other days you’re lost. Her ability to overcome her fear on this smaller feature was very admirable. Let alone it being super hot out, she was determined to drop this. At one point we had to take a break, sit down, have some water, and just reset.
