Hello, my name is Nurbolat. I work in Studio 7 Almaty, occasionally recording Kobyz parts for songs. What is kobyz? It’s a stringed instrument, popular among countries of Central Asia. I represent Kazakh version of kobyz, which is called Kyl-Kobyz. It has a body carved out of from a single piece of wood, tt has 2 strings, one to provide melody and the other resonance. The strings and a bow are made from horse hair. This all sums up to give it a unique dense sound full of overtones. I will record kobyz for your song in a professional recording studio based in Almaty, Kazakhstan with a help of a recording producer. We experience in different styles such as classical music, rock, electronic, hip hop, pop and more. You can send me your song draft or ask to improvise a melody using your track.
