Casualties reported as Israeli strikes, artillery pound southern, central Gaza

In the southern part of Gaza, near Khan Younis, relentless Israeli bombardment has claimed the lives of at least seven Palestinians, focusing on the Nasser Hospital and medical complex. Recent airstrikes have resulted in dead and wounded arriving at the medical facility, according to local authorities. In Rafah, strikes persist, and despite Israeli military directives designating it a “safe zone,“ displaced Palestinians find no safety. Ongoing airstrikes and bombardment are observed in the central territory near Bureij, Nuseirat, and Maghazi refugee camps, where artillery is reported. Less than 24 hours ago, Israeli airstrikes in Maghazi resulted in 100 Palestinian casualties. The toll in Gaza nears 21,000 deaths, with almost 55,000 injuries.
