On 23 October, a Partial Solar Eclipse occurred across certain areas of the Earth, and depending on where you were determined the percentage of Moon coverage. Regardless of how small that percent was, a Solar Eclipse is always worth watching. Nature seems to stand still as the Sun appears to be ’broken’ by the Moon; a very eerie yet beautiful silence. One of the most fascinating occurrences that I like about Solar Eclipses is the light coming through the trees. That is breathtaking, and even more intense in person!
I sought out to capture this event, and wanted to share it to those who may have missed it. So, I present to thee, the Partial Solar Eclipse on the 23rd of October, 2014.
*Unfortunately I did not have my tripod with me when I took video of the eclipse, so there is some shaky footage. I do apologize about that!
*Notice the large group of sunspots.
**BE SURE TO VIEW IN HD! :D
