Concert at St Casimir Vilnius

We heard this concert at the lovely church of St Casimir. The organist, Aivars Kalejs, was from Latvia and the soprano, Martina Doehring, was from Germany. The programme included a couple of songs by G. F. Handel, a sonata by D. Scarlatti and two songs by A. Scarlatti, a song by A. Vivaldi, songs by H. R. Bishop, F. Chopin, W. A. Mozart, C. Saint-Saens and F. Schubert’s “Ave Maria,“ a fantasia by J. G. Muthel and two pieces by J. S. Bach, Prelude in E flat major and the song “Jesus bleibet meine Freude“.
