This Week in Volcano News; Increased Activity at 2 Volcanoes, Makushin Earthquake Swarm

During the last week, increased activity was detected at a large shield volcano in France. Meanwhile, in Alaska, the Makushin volcano produced an unusual earthquake swarm on the southeastern slopes of its edifice. And, in Colombia, the Galeras volcano produced an increase in the number of earthquakes at fairly shallow depths. This video will discuss these stories and list the 45 volcanoes which are currently erupting around the planet.
