Beyond: Two Souls - Deleted “The Senator“ Chapter Area Flythrough

Advanced area design for the deleted Beyond chapter “The Senator“ has been discovered in an early game build recently released by Kempy161. Though still unfinished, the design already matches the concept art available for this chapter closely as shown at the end. Background: This chapter would have taken place after The Embassy and before The Dinner in the timeline. Possibly set in Somerville/Boston, Massachusetts it was the most lengthy and complex of the chapters cut from the game early in development, presumably due to the enormous technical challenges it would have presented on the PS3 platform. The chapter would open at a convention center, transition to the underground parking lot and eventually end in a hospital. Story information on this chapter is scarce, but what is known is that the titular senator would hold a rally for his upcoming election at the convention center. Jodie/Ryan are confirmed to be in this chapter and are presumably assigned as his protection detail. A released script page from this chapter details that a woman named Stella, possibly the senator’s make-up artist, would be found dead. Jodie would interview the senator in his backstage dressing room, then try to reconstruct the events that led to Stella’s death. This task would lead Jodie to the female restrooms where she would search the stalls and bins and discover something Stella left behind she could channel with Aiden. Concept art furthermore hints that there was a possible hitman on the catwalk that would try to execute a hit on the senator after he took the stage for his speech. It is likely that he murdered Stella while infiltrating the building and it is the ultimate task to stop him before he can accomplish his objective. A knife found in the parking lot area possibly indicates that the killer would be chased down here and a final fight would take place. Someone is eventually (possibly conditionally) injured during this chapter leading to the final hospital scene
