Paganini Violin Concerto No.1, Op.6, 1st mov | Leia Zhu

The violin concerto No.1 Op.6 was composed by Niccolò Paganini around 1817, he intended this concerto to be heard in E-flat major as his orchestral parts were written in E-flat. The violin part was written in D major but with instruction to scordatura (tuned the violin a semitone higher). The modern form saw the use of D major arrangement for the orchestral parts to remove the need for scordatura. Recorded live at the Academy of Athens, Greece in April 2017.
