In 2019, I skipped my company Xmas party because Strike Anywhere were playing the same night downtown! I knew it was going to be the usual shit where everyone showed up with their significant others dressed up in holiday casual and made small talk over food the company bought. When I found out it was BYOB, seeing Strike Anywhere become the priority. I don’t regret that decision
