Ioanna Merope Ippiotis was born on the Greek island of Lesvos and she moved to the UK when she was 12. Led by a great passion for languages, she completed a degree in Modern Languages (Italian and Spanish) and a Master of Arts in Applied Translation Studies at the University of Manchester and the University of Leeds, respectively.
