Many may remember William Henry Harrison as the president with the shortest term in office, but they may not know the story of his role at the Battle of Tippecanoe which propelled him into national notoriety. It was at the confluence of the Tippecanoe and Wabash Rivers in present day Indiana where American forces under Harrison squared off against an alliance of Native American tribes under the leadership of a Shawnee tribal leader known as The Prophet.
