Paris police dismantle homeless camp near Olympic Rings

French police have dismantled a homeless camp set up next to the Olympic Rings in Paris. About 100 homeless individuals, reportedly displaced by evictions ahead of the 2024 Olympics, had established the campsite as a protest against what activists call ‘social cleansing’.
