’Misrabani’ is style developed by Dr. Lalmani Misra (1924-1979) for Indian strings. His son Dr. Gopal Shankar Misra (1956-1999) practiced and taught Misrabani style to students at BHU. To fill the void her father and brother left, Dr. Ragini Trivedi, now performs and teaches compositions in Misrabani style.
