A Weekend in New Haven, CT | eating a lot of pizza 🍕, Italian food, and hotel time with the pup

A couple of weeks ago, we took the Metro-North railroad to New Haven! The journey was about two hours from NYC. Since the train is dog-friendly, we took Pika with us and made it a fun little weekend getaway. New Haven is known for amazing pizza (Naples-style), Italian food, and of course, Yale University! Being that the mascot for Yale is the English Bulldog, Pika felt right at home 😂 and predictably received way too much attention... We booked a hotel in the downtown area and loved it! It’s in a great location, is super dog-friendly, and has a cute cafe and hip cocktail bar. We didn’t have a car with us, but felt that the location of this hotel made it easy to walk around and see plenty of things :) ✨Follow me on IG: 🏠 Where I Stayed: ➢ Graduate Hotel - 🍕What I Ate/Drank: ➢ Sally’s Apizza - ➢ Midpoint Coffee Brewers - ➢ Louis’ Lunch - ➢ OhK-Dog - ➢ Arethusa Farm Dairy - ➢ Zeneli - ➢ Libby’s Italian Pastry Shop - ➢ Old Heidelberg - ➢ Poppy’s Coffee and Kitchen - 🎵 Music in this video (by Epidemic Sound): ➢ “My Sweet Ding-Didely-Dey“ - par ➢ “Worth It“ - Superintendent McCupcakes ➢ “Let’s Go Find the SUN“ - Sarah, the Illstrumentalist ➢ “Konton“ - Sugoi ➢ “Back When We Met“ - Oakwood Station ➢ “October 22nd“ - Vendia ➢ “Full Tank“ - Jobii 📽️ What I Use to Edit/Film: ➢ Sony ZV-1 ➢ iPhone 11 ➢ Final Cut Pro X ➢ GoPro HERO9 👩‍💻 ABOUT ME: My name is Julie Wu and I was born and raised in sunny California, but moved to NYC in April 2021.
