The spokeswoman for Russia’s Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, well known for attention-grabbing behavior that includes writing politically-charged poems on social media and issuing various strong-worded criticisms directed at Western powers, has held her promise to journalists working at the Russia-ASEAN summit in Sochi and performed the traditional Russian Kalinka dance. Kalinka-malinka one of Russia’s best known folk songs, which is often played in American ice hockey arenas, of all places.
