Matadors and bullfighters fight charging bulls, while the world’s fastest guitar/violin shredding senorita, The Great Kat shreds at lightning speeds on both guitar and violin!  Pablo de Sarasate, composer of “Carmen Fantasy” Op. 25, was a violin virtuoso from Spain who composed this famous violin showpiece in 1882 based on themes from Bizet’s Opera “Carmen”. Katherine Thomas (The Great Kat) first performed Sarasate’s “Carmen Fantasy” as a violin soloist at the famous Carnegie Recital Hall in New York City as winner of the Artists International Competition and performed this famous work internationally in concerts, while student at the The Juilliard School conservatory.
