Long shot of a crowd lined street, the funeral procession is lead by a band of pipers. Mac Curtain’s ( MacCurtain ) coffin is carried on a splendid horse drawn carriage covered in flowers. M/S of the horse drawn hearse. M/S of the mourners marching behind the hearse. Various shots of the crowds in the streets - men, women and children shelter from the rain. There is a feeling of depression and poverty - there a few umbrellas, many of the women wear old fashioned scarves, they look into the camera with serious expressions.
