☕️ BUY ME A COFFEE (Support me with a one time donation!) ***UPDATED VERSION*** this cover was hugely inspired by both annapantsu’s and Reinaeiry’s covers of “hellfire.” in fact, hearing anna’s cover of the song back in 2020 motivated me to make my own OCs (named minerva and circe—i’m thinking of changing their names). as is known, the original song is creepy as all hell. but upon hearing different covers of the song, i grew enamored with the way artists and writers took said covers and developed their own interpretations of the song. when viewing this song through the lens of my OCs, i really liked the drama and emotional struggle it had. as someone who was raised catholic and was constantly fed anti-gay propaganda, it’s kind of cathartic to take this song and play a character grappling with her intense love for a girl, and her own internalized homophobia at the same time. i really love this song, and i’ve always wanted to cover it, but i
