Armed with lasers and flashing lights, Belarusian servicemen help migrants bypass Polish soldiers

Belarussian forces have adopted new tactics to assist migrants to force the Polish border. They cut the razor wire on the border and shine strong strobe lights and lasers at Polish officers while migrants throw stones and chunks of wood. All this is designed to distract Polish officers and help migrants to break through the EU border. The Polish Border guard released a video showing Belarusian border guards standing near the border fence, shining lasers and flashlights at the Polish side. This is supposed to make it difficult for Polish forces to intervene. At the same time, a group of around 200 migrants tried to break through the fence on the Polish-Belarus border on Wednesday night as tensions simmer in a crisis regional powers have warned could spill into a wider conflict.
