Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival presented Jeff Beck’s performance of Hammerhead and Nessun Dorma (5:00) on June 26, 2010, at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL (Still on the Run - The Jeff Beck Story). On May 25 and 26, 2023, an array of music legends will gather at the Royal Albert Hall in London to honor Jeff Beck, the late guitarist and rock and roll trailblazer who passed away at the age of 78 in January after a bout with bacterial meningitis. Billed as an event put on by Eric Clapton and Friends, the special tribute concerts will be truly memorable evenings, as expected given the reputation and esteem given to Beck over the course of his life and career.
