Location of events unknown. Cricketers try out new cover which prolongs life of cricket bats. Various shots of David Hulme, young son of cricketer / footballer Joe Hulme, demonstrating how the cover works: he paints glue onto battered old bat and then sticks the new plastic cover onto it. Australian cricketer / coach / writer Alan Fairfax comes over and inspects David’s work, he seems to approve. Various shots of cricketer Maurice Tate bowling and cricketer Peter Smith batting on field.
